Processes

Here at P & S Textiles we have the capability to offer two types of coating process, knife over roller and knife over air. This allows us the flexibility to coat from as little as 8 grams per square metre on a single side to over 450 grams per square metre on both sides of a fabric. We have a maximum width of around 2000mm, dependant on quantity and weight of coating required, this we believe, gives us a very flexible manufacturing base. Because of this flexibility we are in a position to offer small production runs compared to many other companies that offer a similar product.

Fabrics

We have a wealth of experience in weaving within our group of companies, and can offer help and advice on the fabric you require. We offer the following standard fabrics for coating.

Nylon
Polyester
Cotton
Glass

Specialist fabrics are also available, such as Vectran, Aramids and Nomex. We can design a fabric to your needs.

Coatings

We currently coat with the following products.

Neoprene
Hypalon
Silicone
Viton
Polyurethane
Butyl
Nitrile
Uncured product

Any product that can be applied through our current manufacturing processes can be accommodated. Flexibility is a key component of our service.

 

 

Commission Coating

It is becoming apparent that our clients often have a fabric of their own that they require coating, this is a service we are very happy to assist with and once again, because of our flexibility, we can offer a service on small quantities.
